Down at the Mines - Part 2
Here are some more shots of the mining scenes shot during the last day of production for Thor's Hammer. This is what remains of the Mesa Motorola plant.

"the pit," where the oppressed miners of Thor's Hammer rummage through
scraps in the background. There were holes here and there that went all the way through to the underground areas of the plant. |

Kristen studied fashion design, is
working on several original collections, and now wants to work more in
wardrobe. |

After lunch, brought in from a really good local
Chinese restaurant called Tots (???), everybody is a little more
relaxed. Here are Unknown, Rick, and OJ, three stunt men who do a lot of work with Tom. They were kind enough to help out as extras for Thor's Hammer. |

Rick enjoys a smoke break. Notice the blue portable mister on the ground in front of him. These Misty Mate personal misters make all the difference in the world and I wouldn't go anywhere in the hot Arizona sun without mine! Misty Mate is a local Tempe company. If you can, try to avoid shopping at Mal-Wart: Support your local merchants! |

Although he was beloved by the cast and crew, Eric's
peculiar eating habits made for lonely meals.

Mike was working security and was a super-nice guy! He made sure nobody got hurt or lost and also helped out with some of the large amounts of trash we constantly generated.

In the foreground is one of the larger holes we tried to avoid. The holes go straight to hell, I mean, the lower floors of the Motorola plant. Water bottles are everywhere. It was afternoon and really hot by now. |
